Wildlife Takes Center Stage at Distant Hill Nature Trail

  • Distant Hill Nature Trails 66 March Hill Road Alstead, NH, 03602 United States (map)

Join us for a unique experience at Distant Hill Nature Trail!

Come for just an hour or the whole day as we transform Distant Hill Nature Trail into an immersive forest theater. Part art installation, part nature documentary, part nature walk, this unique event brings wildlife to the big screen beneath the trees. Along the accessible trails, screens will be set up to showcase real wildlife moments filmed with trail cameras by Jaime McGuigan, co-founder of Access Conservation, and Antioch New England alum, on-site with intimate glimpses of hidden behaviors, surprising visitors, and the everyday drama of local species.

Explore at your own pace for a self-guided experience or join Jaime for one of two guided walks at 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM. Jaime will share stories about habitat diversity, the conservation value of smaller parcels, and the wild neighbors that make this land come alive.
