Wildlife Trail Camera Workshop

Join us for a hands-on Wildlife Trail Camera Workshop on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 10:00 am to noon at Distant Hill Nature Trail in Alstead, NH.

Discover how trail cameras can open a window into the secret lives of wildlife with Jaime McGuigan, a trail camera specialist from the nonprofit Access Conservation. Jaime will share tips on choosing the right camera, ideal placement for capturing animals, and how to interpret the images and videos you collect.

This workshop will combine both classroom-style learning and field demonstrations along the trails, giving participants practical experience in setting up cameras and exploring the ways these tools support conservation, research, and personal enjoyment of nature.

Whether you’re new to trail cameras or already using them, you’ll leave with the knowledge and confidence to capture wildlife activity in your own backyard or on your favorite trail.
